the $20 subscriptions, priced in naira

Claude Code costs $20/mo on Claude Pro — about ₦27,500 at today’s rate. Codex and Gemini run the same tab. brewkeg prices the same three tools in naira: Starter ₦5,000 (≈$3.6/mo), Pro ₦12,000 (≈$8.7/mo), Scale ₦25,000 (≈$18/mo). No USD card, no FX surprises.

#one constant: 100 tokens per naira (₦10,000 / 1M tokens) everywhere — top-ups, plans, all of it. The 10/15/20% by tier is the only discount, and it's why a subscription beats paying per request. what’s the catch? one rate, no surprises

There’s no hidden subsidy. brewkeg charges one transparent rate — ₦10,000 per million tokens, the same for every model, every plan, every top-up. That rate covers what the frontier models cost us upstream plus the naira plumbing — Paystack, the gateway, hosting, no FX for you — and a small margin.

The rest is pooling. A flat plan works like a gym membership: most members don’t burn their full monthly credit, so a shared pool averages out — heavy users are carried by light ones. That’s how a ₦5,000 Starter can include ₦5,500 of usage and the books still close.

# you pay in Naira via Paystack; we settle with our providers in USD. No international card on your side, ever.

$ AI blocked in your country? not anymore

Anthropic and OpenAI aren't directly billable from a Nigerian bank card. We don't pretend otherwise — we route you to upstream providers that are billable from your bank, and we meter your spend in Naira.

Nigeria
problem Anthropic API not billable here. USD cards declined.
fix Naira billing via Paystack · bank transfer or local card · routes to upstream providers that ARE billable from NG
China + APAC
problem Claude code servers region-restricted.
fix Flat-rate OpenCode Go pool (₦12k/mo) — same Anthropic-format API, no TLS gymnastics on your end
Russia / CIS
problem Multiple providers block egress.
fix Multi-hop egress fallback — the gateway picks the route that actually connects
Iran
problem Card freezes + endpoint filtering.
fix Naira-metered access — you pay in NGN for the upstream traffic, no card ever hits a US vendor
EU
problem GDPR / data residency questions.
fix We log metadata only (model, tokens, latency); full prompts opt-in. No prompts ever leave the gateway in cleartext

Anything that speaks /v1/chat/completions works. Cline, Continue, Roo — pick one.

what we don't do
We don't patch Claude Code. We don't fork it. We don't ask for your Anthropic credentials. The CLI keeps thinking it's talking to Anthropic; we just sit in the middle and route.

Is this legal? What's your relationship with Anthropic?
Claude Code supports a configurable base URL — that's the integration we use. We're an authorized API customer of the upstream providers (OpenRouter, Anthropic API). We are not reselling your subscription, and we are not touching Claude Code.
What FX rate are you using?
Paystack settles in NGN at their published rate. We price in whole Naira so the rate volatility is in our margin, not yours. If you see a 3% gap on your statement, that's Paystack's FX spread — not us.
Do you log my code?
We log metadata — model, provider, token count, latency, status — for billing and quotas. Full prompt content is opt-in and stored only if you turn the toggle on. By default we don't see your code.
What if the upstream pool dies?
Auto-fallback routes you to the next healthy provider in milliseconds. Quota-tier plans are more exposed to upstream churn than flat-rate plans — we document which is which on each plan page.
